Excursions
The Students’ Union organizes separate annual excursions for boys and girls. These excursions are very popular among the students and draw a large number of student participants.
Academic excursions are organized by the departments of Botany, Zoology and Physiology for the students of the respective departments. Short one-day local academic excursions are held about 5-6 times a year. Students are taken to important locations mostly outside the state under the guidance of teachers for long academic excursions, each of 7-15 days duration. 3 such excursions are organized every year. These excursions form an important part of the academic activities of the students of departments of Botany, Zoology and Physiology.
