Centres and Societies

The college offers an opportunity to the students to expand all-round knowledge base through different societies/associations and centres.

The Biological Science Association and Physical Science Association help to create interest and expand knowledge for the science students by organizing lectures, debates, symposia, seminars, exhibition and also publishing articles on various science topics.

"City College Centre for Economic Studies" has been formed to provide a forum for the students and teachers of the departments of Economics and Commerce to pursue knowledge in the related fields. The centre has already undertaken different projects where the students have taken an active part. This activities have helped students to develop a research orientation.

The college has organized a UGC sponsored "Foundation Course in Human Rights and Duties education" as a part of its endeavour to impart value based education to the students. This programme is likely to be a regular feature.
