• Student Seminars:
  The Chemistry Department of City College is profoundly dedicated to build interest in science within the students. We make an effort to find new ways to engage and motivate the students. We intend to open up a door for the student to find out more about chemistry, how it works, and how it impacts their life. Our goals include facilitating communication between chemistry students and department by
  • offering seminar program for the students every year and
  • organizing parent-teacher meeting in every year.
  • mentoring mentee system in which each faculty is assigned with the task of mentoring about 8-10 students.

• Student's Magazine/Wall Magazine/Poster Presentations:
  The department of botany provides a platform in the form of wall magazine named "CALYX" where students can display their artistic works including photography, drawings and paintings, any piece of informative and interesting news relating to plant science and beyond to share with their fellow students. Through this initiative an opportunity is offered for the upliftment, recognition and inspirational motivation to the students in literary and artistic development.
